Of course achdus is vital. But that doesn't mean that to have achdus we should make wrong into right. Should we say the conservatives and reform is OK because we want achdus?

Achdus doesn't mean to accept whats wrong. Achdus means that those who are doing wrong should stop. Then everyone will be b'achdus.

Achdus with Hashem is the main thing, and Hashem wants us to say that wrong is wrong.

The Bais HaMikdash was destroyed, the Maharsha points out, because the rabbis refused to object to the wrongdoing that was taking place in front of their eyes when Bar Kamtza was thrown out of the seudah. We are not allowed to say that wrong is right. Allowing wrong to happen without objecting is what caused the Golus in the first place.
